Spring Summer Fashion Haul

On a cosy evening last Thursday I was doing my Spring Summer fashion haul from my sofa, scrolling through airy vest tops, floaty dresses & colourful skirts from my usual go-to sites. 

I have to say, I was really impressed by River Island's dress collection which was full of their fresh spring collection; featuring bright orange shoulderless midis, petite, delicate frilly numbers and more conservative pieces. I noticed that khaki was still all the range whilst a more vibrant colour palette seemed to be prominent - perfect for the Summer.

I came across a really gorgeous White Crochet Trim Cut Dress whilst browsing and just had to make a purchase. Frilly, unassuming, feminine and perfect for a casual occasion or to be dressed up in the evening; I can't wait to add this to my Spring wardrobe!

Meanwhile, Look of The Day - a fashion brand I'd never heard of - were offering me 10% off my first order. I didn't know how they'd gotten my email address (perhaps I'd signed up on the whim previously) but this was one of the rarities that Email Marketing had really caught my attention. Not only were LOTD offering a generous welcome discount, but also a £5 for everything Black Friday offer - clearly one I couldn't refuse!

I headed right over to their site, not entirely convinced I'd find much worth buying at such low prices. However I was really pleasantly surprised to find masses of gorgeous styles; with huge collections of winter skirts, various coats & jackets, party dresses and much much more. I had been looking for a new nude waterfall jacket recently (because, who doesn't need a throw-over waterfall?) and a new skirt for work or for a casual outing.

I found a gorgeous waterfall jacket in the perfect shade I was looking for and added it right into my basket: The Stone Waterfall Belted Jacket, for only £10!  Along with that, I found another beauty: the Dusky Pink Wrap Over Suede Skirt at the minute cost of £5. Standard delivery was £3.99 which isn't common nowadays with the likes of Missguided offering Free Unicorn Next Day Delivery, however I was totally happy to pay that considering my grand total would only be £17 for a new jacket and skirt.

My God, was I impressed! My order was dispatched only 1 HOUR after I'd ordered, and it was delivered the very next day. Amazing service.

I'd bought these two items at a real bargain so I was prepared to perhaps be slightly underwhelmed at the material and quality, however I couldn't have been more wrong. My suede skirt was a thick material and my waterfall jacket was lined perfectly, thin in material but clearly good quality.

I have kept both items and they will become staple in my fashion routine - the skirt being an addition to a Winter pub dinner and my waterfall being a daily addition to my work outfits! I'm over the moon with my LOTD order considering how little it cost, and will certainly become a consistent buyer.
