COCO FOR LOCO

I get that most women’s hair is their pride and joy; and understandably so! Mine, on the other hand, is pretty volume-less and so naturally, I have steered away from hair products throughout the years in fear that they will only add to its lack of bounce. But, being crazy about coconut and all of its wonderful properties (aren’t we all?), I was over the moon to hear about Lee Stafford’s brand new Coco Loco hair range.

So when they sent me the cutest little collection of pink goodies in the post, I was super keen to get involved. Through the letterbox arrived the Lee Stafford Coco Loco Heat Protection Mist, wrapped up within a blush coloured spray bottle, decorated with hot pink letters. This was accompanied by a much appreciated hot pink striped piece of rock candy and a personalised note from Lee Stafford!

That same night I wrapped my hair up in a towel after my shower and followed my usual routine, leaving my hair to towel-dry for around 15 minutes. The bottle suggests that you spray it at arms length upon towel-dry hair before blow drying, or to spray a little in sections before using heat products such as straighteners or curlers. I did as instructed and misted the product all over both the roots and ends of my hair, instantly falling in love with the delicious coconutty, summery scent!

After blow drying my hair, I found that my locks were soft and silky to comb through, accompanied by the loveliest sheen. Even better, it didn’t leave my hair with that dreaded greasy feeling - instant winner for me!
This lovely little bottle of mist has joined my morning blow dry routine every other morning now, and I have really noticed a difference; the product claims to protect your hair from heat up to 220 degrees but also help to condition it, and after using the product religiously I believe every word. The few split ends I had before, seem to be just that little bit less noticeable, and generally my hair doesn’t end up with that fuzzy blow dried look anymore, which is a delight! I’m in love with its natural scent which I have paired with my mini Zara Coconut handbag Parfum recently, just to add to that gorgeous coco scent.

One of my most favourite aspects about this product is the fact that it doesn’t use any alcohol or harsh ingredients, which is a huge thing for me as I am big on all-things-natural. Combine that with the fact that this mist’s main ingredient is the super-nourishing coconut oil, and you can be sure that you are on your way to healthier, protected (and lush smelling) hair.
