Kudos to Peels and Seals, this little bottle arrived in very cute packaging; decorated in mint green, white and black - simple yet appealing, and very apt for its special tea tree oil ingredient.
I was hesitant to try this one out (as I am with every other face mask, especially facial peels/exfoliates) due to my overly sensitive skin. How wrong was I! I was really blown away by how gorgeous this product is.
Firstly, I think this could last you a year. We all talk about how amazing an eyeshadow is when it’s so pigmented; well this is similar. Just a tiny squirt of the Peels and Seals Activated Charcoal Peel is enough for use upon the entire face. The product is get black and extremely thick in consistency, which may be daunting at first but once applied to the skin it dries quickly and has a gorgeous minty scent.
I applied gently with my index finger and ensured to lather up a little more around my slightly oilier areas that I wanted to target, such as my nose pores. As instructed, I let this product dry on my face for thirty minutes (admittedly my DIY teeth whitener was used simultaneously) and kicked back to let it do its wonders.
As with any facial peel product, towards the end of its dry your face feels stiff and ready for its removal. The product dried in to a hard crust upon the skin, and I could almost feel it working its magic.I removed the charcoal from my skin by slowly peeling it back, which was tough as this is a really intense product But, honestly and truly, I was left with baby-soft skin! My complexion looked clearer, with all blackheads no where to see on my nose especially.
Overall, I am really impressed with this peel and can tell that it will last me a while - if you’re looking for something intense perfect a Sunday pamper session, make sure you add this to your basket! Purchase here for £11.99 on their official website.
